Lea, bumida sa disney princess concert

Tampok si Lea Salonga sa Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration na ginanap noong Aug. 13 sa D23 Expo sa Anaheim Convention Center near Disneyland in California.

Isang once in a lifetime gathering ito ng iconic singers na naging singing voices ng mga sikat at minahal na mga Disney Princess.

Inawit ni Lea ang Reflection mula sa Mulan at naka-duet niya si Brandy Norwood sa pag-awit ng A Whole New World mula sa Aladdin.

Nag-perform din sa gabing iyon sina Auli’i Cra­valho at Catherine Laga’aia (Moana), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana in The Princess and the Frog), Jodi Benson and Halle Bailey (Ariel in The Little Mermaid), Paige O’Hara and Susan Egan (as Belle for Beauty and the Beast) Judy Kuhn (Pocahontas) and Brandy (Cinderella).

Heart, nagbayad ng utang ng kaibigan

Kasunod ng matagumpay na pag-renew ng kontrata ni Heart Evangelista sa Sparkle GMA Artist Center, dumalo siya sa vidcast program na Your Honor na pinangunahan nina Chariz Solomon at Buboy Villar.

Sa naturang episode, ibinahagi ng aktres na handa siyang isakripisyo ang lahat para sa isang kaibigan, kabilang na ang pagbayad ng utang na aabot sa milyon. “Sometimes, the ultimate high of success doon mo mararamdaman kung sino talaga ang mga kaibigan mo. ROD, disappointed sa pagkansela ng kanyang shows

Napilitang kanselahin ni Rod Stewart ang kanyang One Last Time tour dahil sa mga problema sa kalusugan.

Ang pagkansela ay kasunod ng isinailalim na coronary stent procedure sa kanyang puso.

Ayon sa report ng E! News: “Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities. On the advice of his doctors, he will take the next four weeks to recuperate and regain full fitness before returning to the stage. Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to continue his current tour dates.”

Naka-schedule sana ang legendary British singer-songwriter to perform sa kanyang Las Vegas residency this month. Pero pinagsabihan siyang kanselahin na ito.

Statement ni Stewart: “I’m deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back onstage and having a good time with you all again soon.”

Ilang beses na na-postpone ang shows ni Rod dahil sa “unforeseen but minor medical procedure that required prompt attention.”

Sumikat si Rod Stewart noong dekada ‘60s at ilan sa naging hit songs niya ay Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Hot Legs, Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright), Have I Told You Lately and You’re in My Heart.

Rod was inducted twice sa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and 2012.

Nabigyan siya ng title na “Sir” after being knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016 for services to music and charity.
