MANILA, Philippines -- Jack Animam continues to blaze trails even on the other side of the world.

Animam will become the first homegrown Filipino basketball player to play in Poland after signing with Energa Torun.

The signing was made official as her management Titus Sports and the squad made the announcement Thursday.

“Together with Jack Danielle Animam, we are excited to announce that she will be continuing her professional career in Poland for Energa Toru?,” Titus Sports posted on Instagram.

“Jack makes history as first homegrown Filipino to play in Poland.”

The former National University Lady Bulldog, who has been a fixture of Gilas Pilipinas in several international basketball tournaments, has played professionally in several countries.

She has seen action in Serbia, France, China, Australia, Romania and Japan.

Animam last played for the Denso Iris in Japan, where she won her first professional title.
