Heart, nakipag-inuman sa bashers?!

Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay naranasanan ni Heart Evangelista na maging host ng isang game show. Napapanood na tuwing Sabado ng gabi sa GMA ang The People Have Spoken kung saan host ang aktres.

Ayon kay Heart ay talagang kakaiba ang tema ng kanyang bagong programa. “I’m excited, although medyo malikot naman din akong tao. It’s a side that people don’t really see of me. Madaldal ako, lagi kasi kapag sa fashion ako, emote-emote, it’s character ‘di ba, in a way we play. But here I think it’s more of myself. Sabi ko nga, this is like a show na pwede mong i-invite ‘yung mga bashers mo. Tapos in the end, nag-iinuman na lang kami after. Kasi pwede pala kayong maging friends. Kasi ‘yon naman talaga eh. It’s really the misunderstanding of people that creates that gap. And this is the show where we can all be in one room and actually be friends after,” natatawang pahayag sa amin ni Heart sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Kasama ng Kapuso actress bilang co-host si Sean Lucas. Labingwalong taon ang agwat ng edad nina Heart at Sean kaya talagang magkaiba ang kanilang mga opinyon sa mga usapin sa naturang game show. “Kaming dalawa, we were very different. Kapag naglalaro kami, kapag nagtatanong kami ng certain questions, we were so different in terms of like beliefs, certain values and some principles. So, it’s very interesting,” paliwanag ng aktres.

Halos tatlong dekada nang aktibo si Heart sa show business. Si Sean naman ay apat na taon pa lamang sa industriya kaya mayroong payo ang aktres sa binata. “Be yourself, at the end of the day if you are yourself and you just follow your own path, you will shine. There’s nobody else that’s gonna be like you. They can try, but there’s one you. So just be yourself, that’s the one. Do not conforme to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind,” mensahe ni Heart kay Sean.

Samantala, maraming mga bagay na ang natutunan ng aktres pagdating sa pagmamahal. Matatandaang ilang artista ang naging nobyo ni Heart noon. Taong 2015 naman nang magpakasal sina Heart at Francis Escudero. “I think I don’t want to lose it but I would hope to believe that I love with my heart. But I feel like as you get older, medyo nagiging jaded ka with a lot of things. So, you start to use your mind. And I feel like I’m my mom no’ng bata ako. She raised in a way to be very smart. Sad because I feel like I lost a big part of that purity of how I used to love before. I think it’s part of growing up,” makahulugang pahayag ng aktres.

Ayon sa aktres ay importante pa rin na nagtitira ng pagmamahal para sa sarili. “When I was younger, no, and I don’t regret that because hindi nila ako makalimutan, ha-ha-ha! No, no, no, I don’t naman regret because that’s how I truly loved. I was known to leave my family for the person I loved, my career for the person I loved, and I have no regrets because I was able to see the world because I chose that kind of freedom and liberty of loving,” paglalahad ni Heart. — Reports from JCC
