PAF inorganisa reserve force
MANILA, Philippines — Muling inorganisa ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) ang kanilang reserve force bilang bahagi ng isang major transformation na nakatutok sa implementasyon ng isang Total Defense Force development concept na nakalinya at sumasalamin sa structure ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) regular unit organization.
Ang restructuring ay pormal na itinampok sa Simultaneous Deactivation, Organization, and Activation Ceremony of Seven (7) PAF Reserve Units na idinaos noong Marso 6 sa PAF Multipurpose Gymnasium, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base sa Pasay City.
Pinasalamatan ni Col. Mikee Romero, dating House Deputy Speaker at ang bagong luklok na commander ng Tactical Operations Wing Reserve–Northern Luzon, ang PAF leadership para sa pangunguna sa nasabing reporma.
“The replication of the regular force structure within the reserve units is a historic step toward building a true Total Defense Force where citizen airmen can fully support and complement the operational capabilities of the Air Force,” wika ni Romero.
Nagpasalamat din si Romero kina Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura, Commanding General ng Philippine Air Force, at Maj. Gen. Pablo Rustria, ang Vice Commanding General, para sa pamumuno sa paglilipat ng mga reservists sa regular force.
Bilang bahagi ng restructuring, pitong reserve wings ang inalis at pinalitan ng pitong organized reserve wings na nakadisenyo para sumalamin sa operational structure ng regular Philippine Air Force at magbigay ng coverage sa buong bansa.
