MANILA, Philippines —Tiniyak ng Atin Ito Coalition na hindi mapipigilan ng  water cannon ng China ang kanilang misyon sa West Philippine Sea (WPS) sa Mayo 15.

Ayon  kay Atin Ito co-convenor at Akbayan Party president Rafaela David, tuloy ang 100-boat civilian mission sa WPS at hindi umano sila natatakot sa pinakahuling pangha-harass at pambobomba ng China nitong Martes.

“Hindi tayo nagpapatinag. We’re like plants watered by adversity – thriving, not just surviving. Parang halamang dinidiligan ng tubig, lalo lamang namumulaklak ang ating pagkakaisa para ipaglaban ang WPS,” ani David.

Nabatid na lalahok sa misyon ang dalawang barko na gagabayan at sasamahan ng   100 maliliit na fishing vessels sa Zambales.

Hinihikayat din ang lahat na sumama upang makita at idokumento ang sitwasyon sa WPS at hirap ng mga Pilipinong mangingisda.
