7,734 public schools na nagsuspinde ng F2F classes

MANILA, Philippines — Umaabot na sa 7,734 ang mga pampublikong paaralan na nagsuspinde ng face-to-face classes kahapon at inatasang magdaos na lamang ng alternative mode of learnings.

Ito’y bunsod pa rin nang matinding init ng panahon na nararanasan ngayon sa bansa.

Sa datos ng DepEd, pinakamara­ming apektadong paaralan sa Western Visayas na nasa 1,613.

Sinundan ito ng Central Luzon na 1,254; Bicol, 1,181; at Zamboanga, 666.

Ayon sa DepEd, sa National Capital Region (NCR) naman ay nasa 252 public schools din ang hindi na nag-face-to-face classes.

Mayroong 47,678 pampublikong paaralan sa bansa.

Una nang sinabi ng DepEd na ang mga school heads at mga local officials ay may awtoridad na magsuspinde ng klase kung matindi ang init ng panahon sa kanilang nasasakupan.
