Vatican decree hindi kinikilala 'pagpapakita ni Maria' sa Lipa, Batangas
MANILA, Philippines — Matapos ang ilang dekada, isinapubliko ng Archdiocese of Lipa ang 1951 decree ng Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, bagay na nagsasabing "walang supernatural" sa pagpapakita kuno ng Birheng Maria sa Batangas noong 1948.
Ito ang inilinaw ng Archdiocese of Lipa nitong Martes sa kanilang Circular 32, Series of 2024. Ilang taon nang itinatanggi ng mga deboto ang pagkakaroon ng ganitong dokumento mula sa Vatican — bagay na napasinungalingan.
"I wish to inform Your Reverences that upon the fervent requet of His Excellency Most Reverend Pablo Virgilio David, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has released a copy of the much-awaited 1951 Degree regaarding the conclusion of the Holy See on the alleged apparition in Lipa," wika ng doumentong pirmado nina Archbishop of Lipa Gilbert Garcera at Chancellor Rev. Fr. Jayson Alcaraz.
"As you will see, the 1951 Vatican document confirms the non-supernatural nature of the events in Lipa."

Nagmula ang lahat ng ito sa pahayag ng isang Teresita Castillo na siyang nagsabing nakita niya ang Birheng Maria sa loob ng Carmelite Monastery sa Lipa, Batangas noong ika-12 ng Nobyembre taong 1948.
Una na naibalitang idineklarang peke ito ni Pope Pius XII noong 1951. Gayunpaman, idineklara itong "supernatural and worthy of belief" noon ni dating Archbishop of Lipa, Ramon Arguelles.

Umani naman ng batikos ang circular na ito sa ilang deboto ng Our Lady, Mary Mediatrix of All Grace habang inuudyok ang muling pag-iimbestiga sa sinasabing aparisyon.
"Please revisit, reinvestigate the 1948 Lipa Apparition case. And please focus on the seer Sr. Teresita Castillo," wika ng isang Ate Dayay sa Facebook habang nananawagan sa Vatican at CBCP.
"Please consider the investigation journal of Fr. Angel de Blas, O.P., the main investigator of the Lipa Apparition case."
Dagdag pa niya, kung sakaling hindi supernatural ang nabanggit, magandang makita ang positibong naidulot ng naturang Marian image habang hinihikayat ang mga nabanggit na patatagin ang paniniwala bilang Krisityano.
