‘Mas marami, mas masaya’ - Poe sa pagtakbong pangulo ni Duterte
MANILA, Philippines – “Mas marami, mas masaya.”
Ito ang naging pahayag ng kampo ni Sen. Grace Poe sa umano’y pagsabak sa presidential race ni Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Sinabi ni Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian, spokesman ni Poe, welcome sa kanila ang posibleng pagtakbo ni Mayor Duterte subalit ikinalungkot naman nila ang paniniwala nito na hindi isang natural born Filipino citizen ang senadora.
“The more choices the people have the better. Clearly his entry to the presidential race will raise the discourse on issues this coming elections,” wika ni Gatchalian.
Magugunita na inihayag ni Duterte nitong Sabado na handa na siyang kumandidato bilang pangulo dahil hindi niya matatanggap na mahalal ang isang “American president.
“My candidacy for the presidency is now on the table,” wika ni Duterte.
Sinasabing ka-tandem ni Duterte si Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.
“Though we are saddened and do not agree with the position of Mayor Duterte on Sen. Poe’s citizenship and the status of foundlings, his decision to seek the presidency will make our democracy stronger and more vibrant,” dagdag pa ni Mayor Gatchalian.
