Bgy. tanod sa QC sumailalim sa skills training

MANILA, Philippines – Naglunsad ng skills training si Quezon City Rep. Francisco “Boy” Calalay sa mga barangay tanod ng kanilang lungsod para sa pagresponde nila sa emergency, krimen at disaster.

Ayon kay Rep. Calalay, ang barangay skills enhancement program seminar ay sa pakikipagtulungan din ng DILG at PNP para sa first district ng QCi.

Ang 3-araw na seminar na ginanap sa BSA Twin Tower sa Mandaluyong, ay pinangasiwaan ni DILG-National Barangay Operations Office director Leo Trovela at Sr. Supt. Ranulfo Demiar sa tulong ng European Union.

Nagpasalamat ang kongresista sa DILG sa pagkakapili sa kanilang mga tanod sa 1st district ng QC upang maging pilot project nito.

“It is important for every barangay tanod to acquire skills in handling victims of calamities or accidents and knowledge on the preservation of evidence in a crime scene,” ani Calalay.
