Purisima pinasisibak sa pagsipa sa umaresto kay Lee

MANILA, Philippines - Hiniling ng isang grupo sa loob ng Camp Crame na sibakin sa puwesto si PNP Director-General Alan Purisima matapos yanigin ng sunud-sunod na kontrobersya ang lide­rato ng Philippine National Police.

Ayon sa source sa Camp Crame, ang pag-aresto kay Delfin Lee ng Globe Asiatique gayundin ang pagkakasipa kay Sr. Supt. Conrado Capa na imbes na ma-promote sa paghuli kay Lee ay sinibak sa Task Force at itinapon sa region 7, ay patunay lamang umano ng mahinang liderato ni Purisima sa PNP.

Gayundin ang iskandalo sa ‘Werfast’ isyu sa Firearms and Explosives Office ng PNP.

“The Werfast issue earned the ire of the millions of firearms holders since the courier service firm uses another courier service to deliver the card licenses for  a much higher fee,” wika ng source.

Ipinagtanggol ni Purisima ang Werfast sa mataas na singil nito sa delivery ng mga card licenses.

Sa isyu naman kay Lee, natuklasan na nasa proseso na ng pag-alis ang Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) sa pangulo ng Globe Asiatique sa most wanted persons dahil sa naging kautusan ng Court of Appeals (CA) nang maaresto naman ni Capa si Lee habang palabas ng isang hotel sa Maynila.

Sa halip na promosyon ang ibigay kay Capa sa pagkakadakip kay Lee ay sinibak ito ni Purisima bilang hepe ng Task Force Tugis at itinapon sa Cebu kaya naghinanakit naman si Capa.

“These controversies have surely reached Malacañang, further fueling speculations that President Benigno Aquino III may soon retire Purisima earlier than his official retirement date. Purisima, on the other hand, was heard as saying that he serves at the pleasure of his commander-in-chief and is willing to leave the top police post once “requested” by the President,” dagdag ng obser­vers sa Crame.

Ilang impormante rin ang naulinigan umano si Purisima na sinasabing siya pa rin daw ang magrerekomenda kay Pangulong Aquino kung sino ang dapat susunod na PNP chief.

Ang tinatarget umano ni Purisima bilang susunod na PNP na kanyang mga mistah sa PMA Class 1981 ay sina Deputy Directors General Felipe Rojas Jr., Leonardo Espina at Marcelo Garbo.

“Anyone of the three among Generals Rojas, Espina, and Garbo is qua­lified to replace Purisima as their years of experience in the police service will surely work for the PNP’s favor,” ayon pa sa impormante.
