Voter’s registration tuloy
MANILA, Philippines - Ipagpatuloy na ng Commission on Elections (CoÂmelec) ang voter’s registration ngayong taon.
Sa advisory ng Comelec Bids and Awards Committee, aprubado na ang P55,793,500 pondo para sa pagpapatuloy ng nabalam na voters registrations noong October 2012 dahil sa ginagawang preparasyon ng Comelec sa 2013 midterm polls.
Inihayag na rin ng komisyon ang muling pagbubukas ng bidding para sa “Supply and Delivery of IT Equipment and Peripherals for the Resumption of the Continuing Voter’s Registrationâ€.
Ang nasabing pondo ay gagamitin sa pagbili ng 500 sets ng personal computer, 500 units ng uninterruptible power supply (UPS), 500 units ng Dot-Matrix Printer 24-pin heavy duty (80 columns), 500 units ng fingerprint scanner, 500 units ng web camera at 500 units ng signature pad. Inaasahang sa Abril 2014 masisimulan ang voters registration.
