5 Taiwanese kinasuhan ng smuggling

MANILA, Philippines - Sinampahan ng ka­song smuggling sa De­partment of Justice (DOJ) ang limang Taiwanese na­­tionals matapos mahulihan ng mahigit 17 kilo ng droga na nagka­kahalaga ng mahigit sa P88 million sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Kinilala ni Customs Commissioner Ruffy Bia­zon ang mga dayuhan na sina Napaporn Khamsa, Raphirat Sukkasem, Yi Wei Tan, Pham Thi Anh Tuyet at Dwi Wulan­dri na kinasuhan din ng pag­labag sa section 3601 in relation to section 101 at section 2530 ng Tariffs and Customs Code of the Philippines at Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“Except for the Tai­wanese National who had his illegal drugs concealed in his pocket, all the rest had their drugs concealed in faise compartments of their luggage” pahayag ni Biazon.

Ang mga dayuhang suspek ay magkakasunod na nadakip ng mga kagawad ng BoC noong  Oktubre sa NAIA sa iba’t ibang flight.
