Lifesaving training ilulunsad

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales, Philippines — Dahil sa tumataas na bilang ng insidente sa pagkalunod ng mga turista, isang pagsasanay sa pagsagip ang ilulunsad ng mga may-ari ng beach resort sa bayan ng San Antonio, Zambales.

Isinusulong ng Pundaquit Resort Owners Association (PROA), sa pakiki­pagtulungan ng Zambales Tourism Association, Surfers Association at lokal na pamahalaan ng San Antonio, ang Lifeguarding training sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng Philippine Life Saving, ang nag-iisang full member organization sa International Life Saving Federation of Belgium.  

Ang dalawang linggong pagsasanay na nasa ilalim ng International Standards in Lifeguarding Training, Operations at Water Safety ay lalahukan ng mga kinatawan ng Philippine Navy, at iba pa.

Nakatakdang ganapin ang pagsasanay sa Marso 1-12, 2012 sa Megan’s Paradisio Beach Resort sa Barangay Pundaquit at Naval Training Center (NTC) sa Barangay San Miguel.
