“Also we want all of them to be charged with violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act by receiving money to facilitate the deal, thereby injuring public interest, by entering a deal that is tremendously over-priced. The actual cost of ZTE’s proposal for the NBN project was only US$130Million, but was later re-priced to US$262Million, covering only 30% of the country. On the other hand, Amsterdam Holding Inc.’s unsolicited proposal would only cost US$240Million and would cover about 80% of the country,” ayon pa sa mambabatas.
