2 OFW sa Saudi nakakuha ng pardon

MANILA, Philippines - Naisalba sa tiyak na kamatayan ang dalawang overseas Filipino workers na nasa death row sa Saudi matapos na makakuha ng pardon mula sa Saudi King.

Ayon kay Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo sa isang pulong balitaan, laya na at pinoproseso na ang repatriation o pagpapauwi kina Edan Tejano at Marjanna Sakilan, pawang nahatulan ng bitay sa Saudi kasunod ng ibinigay na commutation.

May 400 pang manggagawang Pinoy na kasalukuyang nasa iba’t ibang kulungan sa Saudi ang nakasalang sa mabibigyan ng pardon. (Ellen Fernando)
