Mga ahensiya ng gobyerno inutusang magtipid

MANILA, Philippines - Iniutos kahapon ni Pangulong Arroyo kay DILG Secretary Ronaldo Puno na i-convert ang 20 percent ng mga government vehicles sa non-fossil fuels.

Sa kanyang mensahe sa graduation rites ng Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), sinabi ni Mrs. Arroyo na dapat magtipid ang pamahalaan kaya nilagdaan niya ang executive order na nag-uutos na magtipid ang gobyerno.

“Government vehicles not on official trip, including police cars, fire trucks should be garaged in the agency office and the keys kept by guards during weekend and holidays,” giit pa ng Pangulo.

Ang matitipid ay gagamitin sa emergency employment program sa susunod na anim na buwan. (Rudy Andal)
