Apostol kumalas na kay GMA

Nagbitiw kahapon bilang Chief Presidential Legal Counsel ni Pangulong Arroyo si Sergio Apostol.

“I won’t talk on that. I just want to tone it down,” maikling pahayag ni Apostol.

Ayon naman sa mapagkakatiwalaang source sa Palasyo, mismong si Pangulong Arroyo umano ang humiling kay Apostol na magbitiw ito sa kanyang puwesto dahil magiging board member ang huli ng Union Bank sa sandaling maging epektibo ang resignation nito sa October 30.

Paghahanda rin umano ito sa plano niyang pagkandidato bilang kongresista sa 2nd district ng Leyte sa darating na 2010 elections. (Rudy Andal)
