PNP chief sali sa Arms Show

Pangungunahan ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director Gen. Oscar Calderon ang open­ing ceremonies ng 2007 Defense and Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) nga­yong Huwebes sa Mega Tradehalls 1 and 2, Building B ng SM Megamall sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon kay Atty. Hector Rodriguez, presidente ng Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD), inaasahang tata­lakayin ni Calderon ang tulungan ng PNP at AFAD sa pagsugpo ng insidente ng firearms smuggling at proliferation o pagdami ng loose firearms dito sa bansa.

Kabilang din na dadalo sa DSAS opening rites sina Chief Supt. Romeo Ri­cardo, director ng PNP Civil Security Group (CSG) and iba pang matataas na opisyal ng PNP Firearms and Explosives Division (FED).
