13th University Run gikatakda karong Agosto 26
CEBU, Philippines – Gibanabana nga moabot ngadto sa 3,000 ka runners ang mosalmot sa ika-13 nga edisyon sa University Run sa Cebu Doctors' University karong Agosto 26 diha sa Dr. P.V. Larrazabal Jr. Avenue, North Reclamation sa Mandaue City.
Ang tinuig nga charity race pahinungod ni anhing Dr. Potenciano Larrazabal Jr., ang kanhi presidente sa CDU.
"Last year we had around 2,500 participants and this year we are expecting to top that number. More and more students are joining the longer distances, they are now more competitive and they're more into running that's why we are maintaining this run," matud pa ni Run for Sight Chairman Dr. Potenciano 'Yong' Larrazabal III.
"All the proceeds of this run will be going to the Run for Sight Foundation for their medical missions and feeding programs every year," dugang pa niya.
Ang lumba adunay tulo ka distansiya -- 3K, 5K ug 10K nga gibahin sa open, students, alumni ug employees categories.
Ang tanang finishers sa 5K ug 10K makadawat og finisher's medal, samtang ang mga mananaog makadawat og tropeyo ug medalya.
Ang registration fee nagkantidad og P600 sa 10K, P500 sa 5K ug P300 sa 3K. Mamahimong magparehistro sa Run for Sight Headquarters sa CDU o sa online sa www.runforsight.net.
