1ST IBP-PICPA Chessfest karong weekend
CEBU, Philippines - Ang labing unang Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IBP-PICPA) Open Chess Team Tournament ipahigayon karong weekend diha sa SM City-Cebu.
“With this strategy, combining lawyers and CPAs, we are hoping to encourage more participants especially from other fields of profession such as doctors and engineers among others which is really our main goal in the future," matud pa ni Atty. Rheneir Mora sa IBP-Cebu Chapter atol sa pormal nga paglusad sa maong event sa miaging gabii didto sa CMYK Dessert Factory.
“We are egging on all lawyers and CPAs who love to play chess to be part of this kind of endeavor,” dugang pa ni Rodrigo Ababat sa PICPA-Cebu Chapter.
Si FIDE Arbiter Marvin Y. Ruelan nagkanayon nga siyam ka teams ang kompirmadong mosalmot sa maong duha ka adlaw nga torneyo. Kini mao ang Casa Team Mora, Ilongga, OPASCOR, DPWH ug ang mga koponan nilang Felix Balbona, Carlo Maraat, Jun Ortiz ug Atty. Jason Genobiagon.
Matag team langkuban og upat ka regular players ug usa ka alternate. Kinahanglan nga aduna sila’y tagsa ka miyembro nga CPA ug abogado o dili ba kombinasyon sa duha.
Ang makampiyon makadawat og P12,000, samtang ang mopahiluna sa ikaduha hangtud sa ikaupat nga dapit mobulsa og P8,000, P6,000, ug P4,000.
