Shell national youth chess competition mopahigayon Visayas leg
CEBU, Philippines - Usa sa labing nabantog ug makanunayong development program sa Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation -- ang Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship mopahigayon sa ilang third elimination leg sa Visayas region karong Sabado ug Domingo diha sa SM Cebu Event Center.

Gilaumang moabot ngadto sa 300 ka players ang mosalmot sa torneyo nga gibuak sa upat ka dibisyon.

Ang kompetisyon malampusong mipahigayon sa ilang opening leg niadtong Mayo 29-30 didto sa SM Megamall sa Mandaluyong City, gisundan sa Southern Luzon leg sa SM Batangas Event Center sa Hunyo 22-23.
Ang Davao City, ang laing chess hotbed, mo-host sa penultimate leg sa Agosto 3 ug 4 didto sa SM Davao Event Center. Ang series tapuson didto sa Tuguegarao alang sa Northern Luzon leg sa Agosto 17-18 didto sa Brickstone Mall Event Center. Ang grand finals himuon sa Septiyembre 14-15 didto gihapon sa SM Megamall sa Metro Manila.
