October devotion: Rosary Month

IYO ANTOY - Antolin dela Serna - Banat

Emons, sa iyang sinuwat, nagkanayon: “For centuries long before Christ, the faithful said prayers in a repeated manner and found different methods of keeping count by using rocks or pebbles.”

So, dugay na gyud kaayo kining pag-pagrosaryo, although lahi lang ang paagi ‘to keep the count,’ dili sama sa ato karong pag-sosario ginamit ang mga rosary beads.

Pangutana: What did Our Lady of Fátima say about praying the Rosary? Tubag sa Google: “She asked the children to pray the rosary daily, and promised that this devotion would bring about an end to World War I, which was raging at the time. Our Lady also revealed three ‘secrets’ to the children during her apparitions, which included a vision of hell and a prophecy about the assassination of a future pope, and asking them to add the Fatima prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those who needed most of thy mercy.”

“Even though these visions occurred at a specific time in history, the message of Fatima is still relevant today, and it is even more dire than when it was first presented.

During Mary's visit with the children on July 13, 1917, she gave them a brief vision of hell, nga kini tinuod, real and eternal nga daghang kalag ang mahipunta didto gumikan sa dili-matukib nga kasal-anan sa tawo.

Relevant, di ba? As if ang maong pahimangno gihimo kagahapon lang, ug addressed nganhi kanato karon. Ang proverbs 24-16 nagkanayon, even good people sin, bisan ang matarong nga mga tawo, sama t i makasala gihapon sa daghang higayon apan, “they rise again, but the wicked stumble from only one mishap.”

Niay duha liyabe, two keys kon gusto kang mosulod sa Langit: prayer and penance.

“Prayer is a powerful weapon and arguably one that needs to be utilized more.”

Daghang mga passages sa Bibliya nga nag-awhag kanato to pray without ceasing.

Ug nia pa, “lf you look around and wonder why our world is worsening, you can be sure that people are not praying enough”

“One of the biggest reasons we are not seeing much prayer and penance for the conversion of sinners is that fewer and fewer people believe in God.” Kapait.

Let’s pray the Holy Rosary.
