Gikan sa Int’l Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines

Ang International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines (ICHRP) miduyog sa katawhang Pilipino sa pagpakusog sa panawagan alang sa pagpadayon sa peace talks tali sa gobiyerno sa Pilipinas ug sa National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).

"The Oslo Communique signed last November 23 is a positive step towards resumption of the peace process. It is a fitting development because today marks one year since the passing of former NDFP Chief Political Consultant Professor Jose Maria Sison, who dreamt of a just and lasting peace for his motherland. He played a key role in peace negotiations between the NDFP and GRP through several decades,” said ICHRP Global Chairperson Peter Murphy.

Dako ang mga kontribusyon ni Jose Maria "Ka Joma" Sison sa pakigbisog sa katawhang Pilipino alang sa usa ka makiangayon ug tinuod nga kalinaw sa Pilipinas. Isip chief political consultant sa NDFP, mitabang siya sa paghimo og mga kasabotan tali sa duha ka partido.

Kini sama sa The Hague Joint Declaration niadtong 1992 nga nagtumong sa negosasyon alang sa kalinaw; ang Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG) niadtong 1995; ug ang Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL) niadtong 1998, ug uban pa.

Ang pag-apruba sa CARHRIHL sa duha ka partido niadtong 1998 mahinungdanon kaayo. Ang mga partido miuyon nga respetohon ang tawhanong katungod. Ang CARHRIHL maoy usa sa upat ka substantive agenda items sa peace talk.

Sa 2016, ang duha ka partido miuyon sa pag-discuss sa mga detalye sa draft nga may kalabotan sa socio-economic reforms.

Ang mga probisyon sa draft Comprehensive Agreement on Social and Economic Reforms (CASER) naglangkob sa agenda sa kalinaw tungod kay ang mga socio-economic nga reporma sa maoy sentro sa pagsulbad sa mga gamot sa armadong panagbangi - kakabos, kawalay trabaho, ug kawalay yuta.
