MANILA, Philippines —  The Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot has been raised to P200 million to drive up lotto revenues and boost charity funds during the holiday season, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

“For the first time in PCSO history, we will have a Christmas Day draw and a New Year’s Day draw,” PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles told The STAR.

The jackpot is expected to further climb up to P202.5 million as there were no winners on Monday.

The Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Since 2023, the PCSO has been holding marketing campaigns dubbed “Handog Pakabog,” increasing the jackpot of lotto games.

The campaigns have been successful in boosting lotto revenues, Robles said.
