Ruben Ecleo nagpakilooy sa Court of Appeals
CEBU, Philippines - Nisang-at niadtong miaging semana ang kampo sa wanted nga si Ruben Ecleo, Jr., kanhi kongresista sa Dinagat Island og Motion for Reconsideration sa Court of Appeals human gi-affirm niini ang desisyon ni Judge Soliver Peras sa Regional Trial Court nga nagkombikto kaniya sa kasong parricide.
Si Atty. Jose Ventura Aspiras mibutyag sa media nga misang-at sila og MR kay nagtoo sila’ng invalid ang promulgation sa ilang kliyente kay wala kini makadawat og notice of order alang sa adlaw sa pagbasa sa hukom sa iyang kaso.
Matud ni Aspiras nga ubos sa Rules of Court kinahanglan buwag ang notification sa akusado ug sa abogado.
Si Aspiras miingon nga ang gi-notify sa korte sa notice of order mao si Atty. Orlando Salatandre, kanhi abogado ni Ecleo nga nagpuyo sa Forest Hills, Banawa, Cebu City ug walay labot si Ecleo.
Matud ni Executive Justice Gabriel Ingles, kinsa maoy mibasura sa notice of appeal nga si Ecleo gihatagan g’yud og due process.
“The notices setting the case for promulgation which were sent to his counsel were sent to the last known address (Forest Hills, Banawa, Cebu City) of petitioner as he and his then counsel on record, shared the same address,†ang desisyon nagkanayon. (BANAT NEWS)
