Illegal gambling gitutokan sa PRO-7 sa 2025
CEBU, Philippines — Mas gihingusgan sa Police Regional Office(PRO)-7 ang ilahang kampanya batok illegal gambling sa tuig 2025 nga miresulta sa pagdakop sa 4,220 ka tawo sa 2,743 ka police operations nga gihimo gikan sa Enero 1, 2025 hangtud sa Disyembre 31, 2025 sa tibuok Central Visayas.
Gitutokan sa kapolisan ang tanang matang sa illegal gambling, apil ang illegal number games, card games, dice games ug mahjong, Cara y Cruz (hantak), cockfighting, online sabong, ug uban pang sugal.
Ang maong mga operasyon nakasakmit og kwartang gipusta nga mokabat sa PhP620,338 .
Gihimug-atan sa PRO-7 nga ang ilahang kampanya batok sa illegal nga drugas gihimo pinaagi sa koordinasyon sa regional units, provincial offices, city ug municipal police stations, suportado sa community reporting ug intelligence-driven operations.
"Illegal gambling erodes discipline, damages families, and disrupts peace in our communities. We strongly encourage everyone to abide by the law and choose lawful means of livelihood. PRO7 will continue to enforce the law fairly and firmly to ensure a safe and orderly Central Visayas," matud pa ni PRO-7 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan.
