Cortes nisang-at og urgent motion to post bail

Ang maong operasyon giingong naghatag og risgo sa panglawas ug nakabalda sa pamuyo sa mga tawo duol sa maong planta.
Gikataho nga nagdumili si Cortes sa pagpagawas og cease-and-desist order batok sa SUPREA ug gitugotan ang maong batching plant nga makapadayon sa ilang negosyo.
Ang reklamo gi-file niadtong Oktubre 2022 ug September 26, 2024 diin nigawas ang desisyon nga guilty si Cortes sa grave misconduct ug napahamtangan kini og silot nga pagkataktak sa serbisyo.
Giendorso usab sa Ombudsman ang criminal aspect sa kaso ngadto sa korte nga adunay girekomendar nga piyansa nga P90,000.
Base sa dokumento penetsahan niadtong May 27, 2025 gusto sa kampo ni Cortes nga mapaspasan ang legal processes niini pinaagi sa pag-submit sa iyang kaugalingon sa jurisdiction sa korte ug mipiyansa isip iyang katungod subay na sa section 4 sa Revised Rules sa Criminal Procedure.
"In sum, the accused Cortes is entitled to bail as a matter of right and the foregoing rules prescribed the manner by which this right may be exercised. Specifically, the accused Cortes may post his bail before a competent court who has custody of his person regardless of where the information will be file", tipik sa dokumento.
