Labing nanginahanglan og tabang ikonsiderar sa ABAC

CEBU, Philippines — Ang mga palisiya sa ekonomiya ug mga kasabotan sa pamatigayon nga isugyot sa mga lider sa 21 ka miyembro nga ekonomiya sa Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation kanunay nga nikondsiderar sa kaangayan, sustainability, ug oportunidad matud ni Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council (ABAC) 2023 chairman Dominic Ng.

“We want to make sure that all the suggestions for economic growth will always be in consideration of the needs of the people of this region, specifically helping the micro, small, and medium enterprises, helping women’s businesses, helping indigenous businesses”, matud ni Ng.

Matud ni Ng nga ang idea mao nga bisan unsa ang trade agreement o economic integration plan nga ilang isugyot kanunay nga konsiderahon kadtong labing nanginahanglan og tabang.

Ang ABAC isip usa ka business advisory council mohangyo sa mga lider sa APEC sa pagkonsiderar sa posibleng mga implikasyon sa pagbag-o sa klima sa mga plano sa pagpauswag sa ekonomiya.

Apan matud usab ni Ng nga ang mga ekonomiya sa APEC kinahanglangamaghimo ug balanse tali sa pagpanalipod sa kalikupan ug pagsiguro nga makatabang sa MSMEs ug dili maghimo kanila nga collateral damage.

Matud usab ni Ng nga sa pagmugna og multilateral trade ug investment collaboration, ang mga lider sa APEC kinahanglan nga siguradohon nga mangita og mga paagi sa pagmugna og mga oportunidad alang sa gagmay nga mga negosyo, mga babaye nga negosyante, mga lumad nga negosyo.

Ang ABAC nagmugna og mga working group aron tan-awon ang mga polisiya nga kini makarekomendar sa pagkonsiderar sa tema sa equity, sustainability, ug opportunity.

Naghimo usab ang ABAC og digital innovation task force aron buhaton nila ang tanan kutob sa ilang mahimo pagtuman sa ilang katuyoan.

Gihulagway ni Ng nga malamposon ang mga meeting sa ABAC III sa Sugbo gikan Hulyo 27 hangtud sa30 niining tuiga.

“We are deeply heartened by the level of commitment and effort demonstrated by all member-economies in addressing the pressing challenges of our times---be it food insecurity, health systems resilience, or climate change”, matud ni Sabin Aboitiz, ABAC Philippines Member and Sustainable Growth Working Group Vice Chair. Sa pakighinabi sa mga tigbalita, si Aboitiz, presidente sa Aboitiz Group ug chief executive officer nagkanayon nga ang ABAC nagtugot sa mga nasud sama sa Pilipinas nga adunay tingog sa mga isyu sama sa transisyon ngadto sa malungtarong enerhiya.

“We learned from all 21 countries and that’s a big thing for us. We are now able to give better advice to our government officials, to the president because we’ve learned from these discussions with so many people who are so knowledgeable and who are the top leaders of Japan, the top leaders of the US”, padayag ni Aboitiz.
