Kaso batok nilang Labella, Dacua gibasura
CEBU, Philippines — Gibasura sa Office of the Ombudsman ang kasong gipasaka ni Inayawan Barangay Captain Kirk Bryan Repollo batok sa kanhi hepe sa Department of Public Services nga si John Jigo Dacua ug ni anhing mayor Edgardo Labella kalabot sa giingong wala matarong pagdumala sa paghipos sa basura sa dakbayan sa termino sa naulahi.
Ang pito ka pahina nga resolusyon nga gipadala ni Graft Investigation and Prosecution Officer III Lucielo Ramirez, Jr., gipadayag sa Ombudsman nga samtang nakita nga dunay gyuy problema sa basura sa Barangay Inayawan apan ang maong ebidensya kay dili igo sa pag-establisar nga si Dacua liable sa Gross Neglect of Duty.
Kahinumdoman nga ang maong kaso kay giduso niadtong Enero 7, 2021 kun diin gipadayag ni Repollo nga wala gyud aksyoni sa dakbayan ang problema sa basura niadtong higayona.
Apan sa tubag ni Dacua niadtong higayona, nga bisan na-expire na ang kontrata sa kagamhanan ug sa usa ka pribadong kontraktor sa transfer station diha sa Inayawan, nangita gyud og paagi ang kagamhanan alang sa pagtabang sa mga pagkolekta sa mga basura sa kabaranggayan.
“Justice has prevailed. I have always believed at the outset that there is neither legal nor factual basis to charge us with those violations. For my part, I did my job as department head of DPS, of which former mayor Edgar Labella ensured that we act accordingly and provide the available services to the Barangays regardless of political color,” reaksyon ni Dacua sa kalabot sa pagbasura sa kaso nga gipasaka batok kaniya.
Samtang sa bahin usab ni Repollo , matud pa niya nga wala na kaayo siya mohatag og pagtagad sa kaso sa iyang gipasaka isip pagrespeto ni Labella nga nipanaw niadtong 2021.
Matud pa niya nga panahon na nga kalimtan na ang kagahapon .
“In fact, I did not file for the Position Paper when the Office of the Ombudsman directed us. I just treated it na lang as a thing in the past and so far I am satisfied with the coordination of the Cebu City Government right now, so I just did not dwell on it too much and just moved forward,” matud pa ni Repollo.
