Mosyon ni Durano gibasura sa Sandiganbayan

CEBU, Philippines — Gibasura sa Sandiganbayan ang motion for reconsideration nga gisumiter ni kanhi tourism secretary Ace Durano kalabot sa iyang graft case gumikan sa wall calendar project sa iyang termino isip kalihim sa Department of Tourism kaniadto.

Ang Sandiganbayan una na nga mikombikto ni Durano tungod sa maong proyekto nga mokantidad P2.7 milyones nga giingong wala moagi sa proper bidding  sa dihang siya pay tourism secretary sa tuig 2008.

Apil sa gikasohan mao sila Oscar Policarpio Palabyab, Grace Reyes Yoro, Eduardo Alvarez Jarque Jr., Evelyn Respicio Cajigal, ug Adriana Mesa Flor, nga mga opisyal sa Department of Tourism (DOT).

Sa 19 ka pahina nga resolusyon Sandiganbayan 7th division kinahanglan untang magmatngon og maayo ang mga opisyales ug kawani sa gobiyerno sa mga regulasyon hilabina may labot sa pagpagawas og pundo sa gobiyerno alang sa usa ka proyekto nga usa ka public interest. “It is clearly established and even by Durano, et al. that they did not follow GPRA (Government Procurement Reform Act). All of them committed transgressions. They grossly disregarded the law and were remiss in their duties by not observing or even attempting to observe the directives of the GPRA which resulted to undue benefits to PDP Digital,” pagbasa sa desisyon sa Sandiganbayan 7th division nga gipirmahan ni Associate Justice Georgina Hidalgo niadtong Enero 18 karong tuiga.

Si Durano sa iyang bahin nagkanayon nga moapelar gihapon sila sa Supreme Court sanglit ang desisyon sa Sandiganbayan dili pa man final ug executory.
