Sulbad sa trapik gituki

CEBU, Philippines — Sulbaron sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for Visayas, Lalawigan ug Siyudad sa Sugbo ang problema sa trapik sa Metro Cebu pinaagi sa Integrated Inter-Modal Transport System (IITS).

Kini ang usa sa gituki atol sa unity ug solidarity meeting kagahapon nga gipangulohan nilang OPAV Head Michael Lloyd Dino, Governor-elect Gwendolyn Garcia ug Mayor-elect Edgardo Labella ug ubang mga opisyal.

“An Integrated Inter-Modal Transport System is, I believe, the most expansive and holistic solution to this traffic problem we are now experiencing. Such system should take into consideration the other LGUs beyond Cebu City,” matud ni Garcia.

Dugang niya nga ang mga local government units nagkinahanglan sa ayuda sa nasudnong kagamhanan sa pagsulbad sa problema.

Gipasabot ni Garcia nga ang konsepto sa Mega Cebu usa sa sagopon sa 44 ka lungsod ug pito ka siyudad lakip na ang Dakbayan sa Sugbo ug Lapu-Lapu.

Sumala pa ni Labella nga sila sa konseho sa siyudad ang napasabot na kabahin sa IITS.

“Part of this integrated system, according to Transportation Secretary (Arthur) Tugade, dunay phase one. Part of the first phase is an LRT that would traverse from the central City of Cebu direct to the Mactan Cebu International Airport,” matud ni Labella.

Nalipay si Dino sa kadaugan sa mga kaalyado ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte aron pareho ang direksiyon.

Gitumbok ni Dino nga pakyas ang pagtukod sa Metro Cebu Development Authority tungod sa wala pag-kooperar sa kasamtangang administrasyon.

“To be honest with you, kaning LRT nato ba. Now, I can mention, actually naa nay grupo nga gihatagan sa project sa LRT. It will really happen. This is not just talks. In fact, there’s a company that was given original proponent status of DOTr (Department of          Transportation),” matud ni Dino.
