OSAP nitabang sa mga biktima sa sunog

CEBU, Philippines — Gitabangan sa Office of the Special Assistant to the President (OSAP) ang mga biktima sa sunog sa duha ka barangay sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo pinaagi sa paghatag og mga relief goods.

Matud ni Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, Mike Dino, nga sagad nga himoon sa lokal nga kagamhanan ang paghatag og mga dinaling panginahanglan sa mga biktima sa kalamidad apan niining higayuna buot si SAP, Secretary Christopher Lawrence “Kuya Bong” Go nga ang nasudnong kagamhanan ang mohatag sab sa dinaling panginahanglan.

"We usually entrust the assistance for calamity victims to the LGUs. But for me, the national government should be in the forefront in helping our poor victims of fire or other calamities because our president, Tatay Digong, wants them taken care of as fast as possible," matud ni Dino sumala sa gisulti ni Go.

Nasayran nga 221 ka pamilya ang nawagtangan og panimalay sa Sitio Kauswagan, Barangay Basak-Pardo ug Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay Kinasang-an-Pardo ug maoy nakadawat sa mga hinabang gikan kang Go human siya mandoi ni Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa paghatag og ayuda.

"They are victims of the fire. But we can see the peoples' satisfaction in seeing the national government in swiftly responding to their needs," matud ni Dino.

"The people of Basak Pardo and Kinasang-an Pardo relayed their thanks to Kuya Bong Go and Pres. Duterte for allowing them to feel that the national government does not turn their back on them in their trying times," dugang ni               Dino.

Ang team gikan sa OPAV ang nangapod-apod sa relief goods nga gipadala sa OSAP. Mga pribadong charitable individuals ang nidonar sab og relief goods kang SAP Kuya Bong Go kinsa nimando sa OPAV sa pagbisita sa duha ka lugar.

Niadtong Hulyo 28, natala ang 54 ka balay nga nasunog sa Sitio Sto. Niño ug 73 sa Sitio Kauswagan.

Sa Kinasang-an Pardo, adunay 72 ka pamilya nga adunay 337 ka tawo kinsa nakadawat og relief goods samtang sa Basak-Pardo adunay 149 ka pamilya nga adunay 337 ka tawo.

Si Go nimando sab sa OPAV sa pagsusi sa uban pang panginahanglanon nga mahimong mahatag sa nasudnong kagamhanan pinaagi sa Department of Social Welfare and Development.

"The national government, from now on, should extend whatever assistance to the calamity victims," matud ni Dino base sa pamahayag ni Go. (BANAT NEWS)
