CEBU, Philippines – Tungod sa mga reklamo sa mga transport groups, si Cebu City councilor Nestor Archival Sr. nagplanong amendahan ang usa ka dekada nang ordinansa sa siyudad nga nagmando sa tanang public utility vehicles pagbutang gyud sa ilang plate numbers ug sa driver nga nagmaneho niini.

Ang mga drivers ug operator gimando karon sa Cebu City Transportation Office pagbutang og identification cards ug dili lang signet sa dashboard kun maamendahan ang maong ordinansa.

Matud pa ni City Councilor Nestor Archival Sr., kinahanglang amendahan ang Section 3 sa City Ordinance 1605 nga gipangamahanan kaniadto ni  kanhi konsehal Rogelio Osmeña.

“Numerous complaints have come from the transport groups particularly the drivers of the public utility vehicles such as taxi, PUJ's, plying the routes within Cebu City regarding the vagueness of the provision under Section 3… especially on what identification card should be displayed inside the vehicle they operated,” matud pang Archival.

Si Archival kinsa chairperson sa Committee on Energy, Transportation, Communications, and Other Utilities miingon nga buot niyang usbon ang Section 3 sa maong ordinansa  nga naaprubahan kaniadtong Enero 15, 1996.

Kini nagaingon: “Ndo person shall be allowed to drive a public utility vehicle unless he displays his full name in a signet on the dashboard of the vehicle clearly visible to the passengers.” (Edwin Ian Melecio gikan sa The Freeman)
