Apelar sa gipasirad-an KTV bar gibasura sa CAIB

CEBU, Philippines - Ang Cebu City Anti-Indecency Board (CAIB) mibasura sa Motion for Reconsideration nga giduso sa Las Vegas KTV bar gumikan sa “lack of merit.”

Matud ni Dr. Lucelle Mercado ang pangu sa CAIB nga gitun-an sa mga miyembro sa komisyon ang apelar sa maong KTV bar pinaagi sa ilang abogado nga si Inocencio dela Cerna.  “The Board duly convened on this day (Jan.3) to deliberate on the matter. The board upon careful evaluation find the same bereft of merit,” matud ni Mercado.

Matud ni Mercado nga ang desisyon sa CAIB niadtong Disyembre 23 sa niaging tuig nahasubay  sa Sec. 9 sa City Ordinance No. 1408 nga nag-ingon “the owner, operator, manager or director of erring theaters or movie houses, night clubs, beerhouses, cocktail  lounges,  bars and similar establishment shall be held equally liable/responsible with the employee/performances.”  Ang syudad sa Sugbo mimando sa pagsira sa maong KTV bar sa niaging tuig gumikan sa gituohang “hubo-hubo.” Sa iyang bahin, si Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama nagkanayon nga dili siya manginlabot ug ihatag niya ang katungod sa CAIB sa pagdesisyon sa maong isyu.

“I am leaving it to them (CAIB) whatever they wish to do. There lawyers know what to do, and I don’t want to teach them what to do,” matud ni Rama.

Samtang sa bahin sa abogado sa Las Vegas, si Dela Cerna nagkanayon nga ipasaka nila ang kaso ngadto sa korte.  “We demand due process. Our only option is to take it to court,” matud ni Dela Cerna.  (BANAT NEWS)
