Mga ibid gibuhian sa DENR

Marigold Lebumfacil - Banat

“We decided to release the species the soonest time possible since we don’t want to compromise the health condition of the species,” matud ni Montejo.

“Sailfin lizards or hydrosaurus pustulatus are identified as vulnerable species because their population is found to be declining due to destruction of its habitats and heavy collection as domestic pets and food trade,” matud pa ni DENR-7 spokesperson Ed Llamedo. “We did not place the lizards in our wildlife rescue center because we want them to be in their natural habitat as they were considered fit and healthy for release,” dugang pa ni Montejo.

(/EIM) (BANAT NEWS)
