National Heritage month gisaulog

CEBU, Philippines - Agi’g pagsaulog sa National Heritage Month, gipahigayon sa Filipino Heritage Festival Incorporated (FHFI) uban sa National Commission for Cultural and the Arts (NCCA) ang ika-siyam nga National Heritage Month nga may tema nga ‘Heritage Pilgrimage to Churches nga gideklarar isip National Treasures ug United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites nga magsugod sa Mayo 16-22 sa tibook Central Visayas.

Ang FHFI usa ka non-government organization (NGO) nga maoy nag-organisa sa maong kalihokan ning buwan sa Mayo base sa gimandar sa Presidential Proclamation No. 439.

Gi-endurso ang heritage pilgrimage ngadto sa 36- karaang simbahan pinaagi sa Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Permanent Committee on the Cultural Heritage of the Church inabagan sa   NCCA, Department of Tourism (DOT) ug Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Si Araceli Salas, finance director sa FHFI nagkanayon nga ang tuyo sa maong kalihukan mao ang pagpahibawo sa mga Pilipino nga ipadayon ang pagpreserbar ug paghinumdom sa mga maanindot nga kagahapon sa atong nasud ilabina sa mga simbahan nga nagpakita kung unsa kini ka bililhon.

Matud pa niya nga ang mga simbahan gideklarar isip National Heritage Site tungod sa mga relihiyosong bahin niini.

Ang pito (7) ka heritage church nga gideklarar isip National Culture Treasure nga bisitahon sa grupo mao ang Patronicio de Sta. Maria sa Boljoon, Cebu; San Agustin de Hippo sa Bacong, Negros Oriental; San Isidro Labrador in Lazi, Siquijor; ug sa Bohol- San Pedro Apostol (Loboc), Parish Church of the Holy Cross (Maribojoc), Our Lady of Light Parish (Loon), ug Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion de la Virgin Maria (Baclayon).
