Gibo nag-una kanunay

CEBU, Philippines - Padayong nag-una ang kandidato sa Lakas-Kampi-CMD nga si Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro sa mga mock elections sa pagka-presidente sa mga eskuwelahan sa tibuok nasud. Ang maong mga mock elections nagpakita sa mabulukong pagsaka ni Gibo ilabi na gayud sa mga batan-on.

Sa mock polls sa University of Asia and the Pacific, si Teodoro nakakuha og 44 porsiyento sa 1, 076 ka mga estudyante. Milabaw si Teodoro og 17 porsiyento sa nagsunod kaniya nga si Sen. Benigno Aquino III nga nakakuha og 27 porsiyento, gisundan kini sa ikatulo nga puwesto ni Sen. Richard Gordon nga nakakuha og 17 porsiyento, misunod si Manny Villar nga nakakuha og 7 porsiyento, samtang sila si kanhi presidente Joseph Estrada ug Konsehal JC de los Reyes nakakuha og 2 porsiyento ug uno porsiyento kang Bro. Eddie Villanueva.

Sa St. Louis University usab sa Baguio, si Teodoro nga kanhi kalihim sa depensa ug usa ka abogadong gradwado sa Harvard ug 1989 bar topnotcher, nag-una gihapon si Teodoro nga nakakuha og 241 ka boto gikan sa 760 ka mga estudyante nga miapil sa mock election. Gisundan gihapon kini ni Aquino nga nakakuha og 231 ka mga boto, si Villar (161), Gordon (76), Estrada ug Villanueva (pulos 12), Nicanor Perlas (8), Vetaliano Acosta (5), Jamby Madrigal (4), ug de los Reyes (1).

Sa gihimong informal poll sa Wack Wack Golf and Country Club sa mga nag-unang alumni ug mga opisyales sa University of the East (UE) migawas gihapong nag-una si Teodoro.  

“The secret balloting, which was done on a spur of the moment after our regular monthly meeting, clearly shows that within a group of thinking voters such as business professionals, academics and even undergraduate students, Gibo always wins due to his obvious intelligence and no-nonsense platform of government,” si Jesus Tanchanco, kanhi administrator sa National Food Administration ug UE adviser alang sa alumni affairs, nagkanayon.
