Chocolate Hills ug uban pa pabotaran

CEBU - Ang League of Provinces of the Philippines miduso og resolusyon nga nanawagan ngadto tanang mga gobernador ug sa ubang mga local government units sa pagsuporta ug pagbotar sa Tubbataha Reef sa Palawan, Chocolate Hills sa Bohol, Mayon Volcano sa Albay ug sa Underground River sa Puerto Princesa City nga malakip sa “New Seven Wonders of Nature” global competition.

Si Gov. Erico Aumentado sa Bohol kinsa maoy mi-introduce uban ni Joel Mario Reyes sa Palawan nagkanayon nga ang nahisgutang “four wonders in the Philippines” kandidato alang sa maong contest.

 “There is an imperative need for the League of Provinces of the Philippines spearheaded in securing votes for Tubbataha Reef, Chocolate Hills, the Underground River and Mayon Volcano, an order that their inclusion among the 21 finalists, and ultimately their selection on the New 7 Wonders of Nature, can be realized,” awhag pa sa resolusyon atol sa sesyon niadtong Huwebes ug Biyernes diha sa Marco Polo Hotel.

Bag-o lang si Cebu Provincial Board Member Victor Maambong ang mipasar og resolusyon nga nagsuporta ug naghangyo sa mga Cebuano nga mubotar alang sa Chocolate Hills.

Gawas sa Chocolate Hills, giawhag usab niyang botaran sa mga Cebuano ang Tubbataha Reef sa kadagatan sa Sulu og Underground River sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Ang botasyon alang sa “Seven Wonders of Nature” ang bukas hangtud sa Disyembre 31 diin 77 ka mga nominado ang pilian apan 21 ra ang kuhaon sa last round sa voting nga ipahigayon sa 2009.

Ang pito nga makakuha og taas nga boto ang ideklara nga “New Seven Wonders of Nature” sa tuig 2010.
