BFD ug DSWD mihigayon of firedrill sa ilang buhatan

Ang Department of Social Welfare Development mipahigayon og Fire and Earthquake Drills nga gimando sa mga miyembro sa City and Regional Disaster Coordinating Councils (CRDCC) sa milabay'ng adlaw aron tabangan ang mga empleyado ug mga kliyente niini nga mapreparar ilang kaugalingon kun naay linog nga mahitabo.

Dul-an sa 500 ka mga tawo sa DSWD nga gilangkuban sa mga Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), mga kababayen-an ug mga bata ang miapil sa maong drill nga gihimo sa CRDCC.

Gawas sa mga empleyado sa maong buhatan ang vocational teachers, house parents ug social workers mibansay-bansay usab sa maong drills aron makamao kini sila sa angay niining buhaton ug gi-disenyo usab kini sa inter-agency disaster management group.

"The conduct of the fire and earthquake drills has become a necessity in her school which demands planning to map out activities to be undertaken particularly during evacuation procedures among the vulnerable groups like the persons with special needs namely: the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, the orthopedically handicap and the babies," matud pa ni Center Superintendent Herminia Cabahug sa AVRC

Midugang si Cabahug nga ang pag-conduct og regular nga drills makapaalerto sa katawhan ug makaluwas sa kinabuhi sa tawo.

Ang misalmot sa maong pagbansay-bansay mao ang Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center, Productivity Skills Capability Building Center for Disadvantaged Women, HAVEN home for women, Reception and Study Center for Children, Home for Girls, Regional Rehabilitation Center for the Youth, Crisis Intervention Unit ug Regional Field Office sa DSWD.
