NCRPO naka full alert para sa 'EDSA Tayo'

MANILA, Philippines – Magpapakalat ng 3,000 pulis ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) upang masiguro ang seguridad sa gagawing prayer rally bukas sa EDSA.

Sinabi ni NCRPO Chief Superintendent Marcelo Garbo Jr. na naka full alert sila simula mamayang gabi para sa nakatakdang protesta bukas sa EDSA Shrine na tatawaging “EDSA Tayo.”

"Let us implement maximum tolerance. But let us remain on our feet, constantly alert and vigilant to pre-empt any untoward incident that the would-be criminals may take advantage of, and ensure the safety of everyone involved in this event," pahayag ni Garbo.

 Kanina ay nakipagpulong ang mga opisyal ng NCRPO sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa NCRPO Conference Room, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City upang plantsahin ang seguridad bukas.

Naka full alert ang Eastern Police District at NCRPO-Regional Public Safety Battalion mamayang alas-9 ng gabi, habang bukas ng alas-6 ng umaga ay naka full alert ang buong NCRPO.

Inaasahang magsisimula ang EDSA Tayo prayer rally at vigil bandang 11 ng umaga.
