BACOLOD CITY , Philippines — Only one of the 13 fugitives who bolted the Sagay City District Jail last week remained at-large, with the surrender of the 12th escapee yesterday, police said.
Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Paz, acting Negros Occidental Police provincial director, said escapee Marlon Bandaja surrendered to the Sagay City Police yesterday morning.
Bandaja sent surrender feelers to barangay captain Merle Demavibas a day before his surrender, according to Chief Insp. Edel Jose Manzano, acting Sagay City Police chief. (FREEMAN)
