BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A 15-minute fire damaged four classrooms of the University of Saint La Salle (USLS) in Brgy. Villamonte in this city at 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
The fire hit the Integrated School of USLS and destroyed P350,000 worth of properties, according to a joint report of fire investigators FO3 Cornelio Silo, FO1 Jerson Canava and FO1 Anthony Banag.
The damaged classrooms were used by Kinder and Preparatory classes. No one was injured during the incident, the report said.
The fire was put out at 12:45 a.m. and was under control at 12:50 a.m. the report said, adding that the cause of the fire was still being investigated as of press time. (FREEMAN)
