Before I forget, allow me to remind our fellow Catholics that October is the month dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. As the Blessed Virgin Mary revealed to St. Dominic, “Preach my Rosary and there will be much fruit.” Yes, there are so many miracles attributed to the praying of the Holy Rosary daily and in the Philippines we do not have to look far because the 1986 EDSA Revolt was given to us by the Blessed Virgin Mary with nuns offering rosaries and flowers to soldiers with rifles where no shots were fired.
Alas 28-years later, the nation is on a similar path with the Marcos Dictatorship and the National Transformation Council’s only weapon is again the Holy Rosary. For me, this month is now my second year that I have prayed the Holy Rosary everyday. It is a matter of having your own system. In my case, I internalize what the Lord Jesus Christ said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all these things shall be added unto you.” So the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is do my morning prayers starting with the Holy Rosary. Let us help bring peace to this troubled nation and pray the Holy Rosary everyday and God will bless all of us.

We have been writing about the National Transformation Council since it was officially launched in Cebu City nearly a week ago. As we pointed out, the power point presentation of former Biliran Rep. Glenn Chiong (who guested with my TV show, Straight from the Sky this week) was very convincing that indeed the 2010 and 2013 electronic elections via Precinct Count Optical Scan virtually stole the Filipino voter’s right to choose their political leaders and they are getting away with this crime.
Yes, we dare say that it is time for Filipinos to wake up to the reality that elections in the Philippines is now the decision of one man, and that is Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes! This is exactly what Atty. Glenn Chiong told the NTC last Wednesday, which got him a standing ovation for telling the truth about stealing our votes! But wonders of wonders, there is no Senate Blue Ribbon Committee doing any investigation on this for fear that the evidences may just be too strong, it would end up nullifying the elections and rendering all elective officials as “de facto” government officials.
Mind you, Atty. Glenn Chiong is not alone in his quest to ferret out the truth against the Comelec. There are books now on sale like “Hacking Our Democracy: The Conspiracy to Electronically Control Philippine Elections written by Rene Azurin and published by Business Mirror and another book entitled “Was Your Vote Counted? Unveiling the Myths about Philippine Automated Elections” which is a collection of articles written by various academics, computer science or IT experts and practitioners and edited by Prof. Bobby Tuazon and published by that policy group called CenPEG.
I have Rene Azurin’s book and this is why I have been writing on how the Comelec cheated in the last two elections using the PCOS machines and yes, no one from the Comelec has filed any libel cases against these people for the simple reason that if they did so, they might just be able to prove their case and blow the entire electronic voting machines into oblivion! Incidentally, those two books are available for sale at Solidaridad Book Store on Padre Faura and at several National Book Stores.
This is why the NTC called for the all the officials of the Aquino regime to relinquish their elective posts because they were elected under dubious circumstances and as Rev. Greco Belgica said, “They are all illegal and the NTC is legal!” Let me remind you that it was Greco Belgica’s petition before the Supreme Court seeking to nullify the Priority Development Assistance Program and the Disbursement Acceleration Program as unconstitutional that won. His power-point presentation also got him a standing ovation by the NTC.
While almost all Filipinos are looking forward to the next presidential elections in 2016, the NTC is warning everyone to wake up and realize that the Comelec has cheated on the Filipino people and will cheat again in the next elections unless we stop them pronto! That is why I suggest that you read those books that you can get at the nearest National Book Store and be informed that the Filipino people have already been stripped of their most basic right to vote for their favorite candidates.
As Rene Azurin wrote in his book, “The point to stress here is that we have to abandon any illusions that our elections are transparent, honest, and reflective of the people’s will. As it stands, our entire election machinery has already been hijacked and fatally compromised. What this means, in practical terms, is that those who think that elections are a viable route to changing our corrupt political leadership are sadly mistaken. Notwithstanding the massive and institutionalized plunder of the people’s money by greedy and colluding politicos, we (the Filipino people) can no longer even vote them out of office.”
