INTENTION HAILED. A long-time Cebuano resident of Zamboanga City hailed Mayor Mike Rama's reported intention to help civilian victims of the bloody conflict in that city. He told an Ear informer that Zamboanga City is home to many Cebuanos who have relocated there for decades.
BARRIO CEBU. He said there used to be a place in Rio Hondo called Barrio Cebu where many Cebuanos lived. The place got its unofficial name from a store named Barrio Cebu. It was a hangout of Cebuanos. The place was no longer called Barrio Cebu when the store was closed.
