PLEASURE. A retired sportswriter who in his prime covered many bigtime basketball games here and abroad was heard telling members of his basketball loving family: “Let us keep savoring the pleasure of Gilas Pilipinas' victory in the recent FIBA Asia tournament because things might turn out differently in the FIBA World Cup in Spain.”

THE WORLD. He made it clear that “it will be the world we will be facing in Spain” not Asia alone. “So it might do us some good if we keep that in mind,” he said, adding: “But let's continue cheering, 'Puso, Puso' which helped us win.”
