Sad reality: A reflection

It is written:

“Do not be afraid of them. For everything that is now covered will be uncovered.

And everything now hidden will be made clear.

What I say to you in the dark, tell in the daylight.

What you hear in whisper, proclaim from the housetop.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.”

(Matthew 10:26-28)

“Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: ‘Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight and what you have whispered in hidden places will be proclaimed from the housetops.

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that they can do no more.”

(Luke 12: 1-4)

“Ask, and it will be given to you.

Search and you will find.

Knock and the door will be opened to you.

For the one who ask always receives.

The one who searches always finds.

The one who knocks will always have the door opened to him.”

(Matthew 7:7-8)

“Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer.

You shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!”

(Isaiah 56:9)

“He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd.”

(Mark 6:34)

The reality:

Whenever we want to dialogue, we do not have a listener.

When we express our views, they are ignored.

When we call, there is no echo.

When we need guidance, no one show us the road.

When we need help, we are neglected.

Where are our priests we trust so deeply?

We are waiting for them but they do not appear!

We feel forsaken.

We are disregarded.

The people of God, the faithful people show love, respect, commitment and devotion.

Why are they overlooked, neglected?

Do they deserve it?
