MIRACLE. Ramon had been looking for at least a bag of blood needed by his ailing mother in the hospital. He could not find any. Then he remembered San Pedro Calungsod to whom he prayed the novena. On the very first day of the novena (which was to run for nine days) San Pedro came to Ramon’s rescue.
THerE WAS BLOOD. Ramon was still praying (additionally after the novena) when a nurse entered the room and told Ramon someone delivered a bag of the needed blood for his mother. No one knew the donor. “Daghang salamat, San Pedro!” Ramon exclaimed knowing his prayer had been answered by the Cebuano saint. (This happened in the St. Paul’s Hospital in Iloilo City.)
