CEBU, Philippines - The Lapu-Lapu City government has appointed an interim president for its city college.
Faustina Atillo will act as interim president in place of Dr. Tomas Ramos who gave up the post.
Ramos is being questioned by the city for his alleged collection of fees from students without issuing official receipts.
The Commission on Audit has also questioned Ramos’ transactions.
Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza said Atillo cannot hold the position permanently because she exceeds the age requirement but the city council has agreed to appoint her as interim president. (FREEMAN)
