CEBU, Philippines - A driver of a garbage truck of Talisay City, while waiting in line at the cash division office to claim his wage, complained of chest pains and eventually taken to hospital where he passed away.
Talisay City Public Information Officer (PIO) Vince Monterde identified the fatality as Agripino Uyoa, 67, of barangay Tabunok.
Monterde said Uyoa was employed as a job order and rendered service as garbage truck driver.
He was at the job for the past 12 years.
From the second floor, Uyoa went down to the ground floor and stayed at the senior citizens’ office to rest.
But his condition was worsened, had difficulty breathing. Some city hall employee immediately brought him to the hospital.
Monterde said that the city mayor will extend financial assistance to Uyoa’s family. (FREEMAN)
