CEBU, Philippines - After it was issued a cease and desist order last April, the Cebu Yellow Submarine is still waiting for a temporary permit from the Lapu-Lapu City government to be able to resume operation.
The management of the submarine told The Freeman that once a permit is issued, it will start to accept guests.
Mayor Paz Radaza said the city government has failed to issue the submarine a temporary permit because it is still waiting for the result of an investigation being conducted by the Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation.
Radaza said the report will be used to craft an ordinance that would regulate all sea craft doing business within the city’s waters. (FREEMAN)
